A dog called GRK

Tim, a boy from London, finds a dog on the way home from school. His owners are in prison, in a country called Stanislavia, and Grk wants to see them. Tim dreads what he has to do. He must fly to Stanislavia, trick his way in to piloting a helicopter, liberate Grk's owners, Max and Natascha Raffifi, from prison and escape (Tim finds) with the help of the British ambassador's secretary, Miranda. 

I like this book cause it shows the importance of friendship and the need for helping but also of courage and bravery. Joshua Doder has what kids want AND what they need all in ONE book!!
