Friska, My Friend by Patricia St John

FRISKA, MY FRIEND is about a boy, called Colin, and a dog, who Colin calls Friska. They live on a farm, near a village. In the beginning of Autumn, Friska suddenly goes missing! It's up to Colin, with the Vicar's help, to find Friska, wich leads to some hair-raising adventures!

What I really think is important is the following BIBLE verse: The Lord says "Don't be afraid, I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name; you are mine" (Isaiah 43:1). I also like Friska and Colin's friendship, which I also think's important.

I think children with dogs should read this great book. I think it's a great book for six-, seven- and eight-year-olds.
